In "Zoo" I photograph animals in their enclosures, revealing their dignified presence despite the constraints of captivity. These images encourage viewers to reflect on the ethical complexities surrounding confinement and to consider how captivity influences our understanding of the animals’ lives and their roles in the world. Through this work, I aim to challenge perceptions of captivity and encourage a deeper contemplation of the relationship between humans and the creatures we confine.
